Mark graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Forest Products in 1981. He began working for Landscape II in 1984 as a stove installer and stove shop salesman at their stove and hearth retail shop. In 1991 Mark purchased the chimney division of Landscape II and began doing business on his own as Landscape II Chimney Services (Chimney Services Inc. is the registered PA Type S Corporation he started.)
Mark is a CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America) certified sweep and is a member in good standing of the NCSG (National Chimney Sweep Guild).
In 20 years of work in the chimney service repair industry, Mark has inspected, cleaned, repaired or built over 10,000 chimney and/or venting systems. This extensive industry experience has provided Mark with the necessary knowledge to expertly inspect, service and repair existing chimney systems as well as design and build new masonry fireplaces and chimneys.
Above all, Mark personally works on and supervises all Landscape II Chimney Services from the simple chimney cleanings to large masonry restoration projects. You will be able to deal with Mark on all job related questions and decision making. This personal involvement will provide you with honest answers and expert advice in a prompt, professional manner.
